How to make characters walk in front of podium

In the background:

INT. CLASSROOM BLACKBOARD - DAY
There’s a podium and I want the teacher to stand behind it, while the students walk past in front of it.
However, even with layering, the students and the teacher are still behind the podium, How do I make them walk in front of it or how do I remove the podium?

Like the teacher moves to layer 1

Podium moves to layer 2

And the rest of the students move to layer 3

You will have to use the overlay -

INT. CLASSROOM BLACKBOARD - DAY with PODIUM at layer 1
&TEACHER moves to layer 0
&STUDENT1 moves to layer 2

And so on :slight_smile:
