How to make overlaysss?

I wanted to make text overlays and also for some other stuff. It would be really helpful if someone could suggest me an app for that and also how to do it !!

I use that app too for editing , i just don’t know how to make it into an overlay

Save the file as a transparent png instead of a png, but you have to “erase” the background first.
