How to move a character when is in a specific spot to another spot?

For example.

EXT. KARAOKE ROOFTOP - NIGHT
@cut to zone 2
@ROB spot 0.984 81 184 in zone 2 AND ROB faces right
@LAYLA spot 0.984 238 169 in zone 2 AND LAYLA faces left

AND THEN
He changes spot to this one but how do I do that he looks he’s walking to the new spot? It’s possible?

@ROB spot 1.009 156 173

@ROB spot 0.984 81 184 in zone 2 AND ROB faces right
@LAYLA spot 0.984 238 169 in zone 2 AND LAYLA faces left

@ROB walks to spot 1.009 156 173

hope this helps

And sorry for ask again, but it’s the same if I want to do that but instead Rob and Layla stand in

@LAYLA spot 0.984 238 169 in zone 2 AND LAYLA faces left
@ROB spot 1.009 156 173
(like the second picture)
And then he steps back to the spot he was at the beginning (the first photo)

Maybe you can try :
@LAYLA spot 0.984 238 169 in zone 2 AND LAYLA faces left
@ROB walks to spot 1.009 156 173

@ROB walks to spot 0.984 238 169 AND ROB faces right

it worked! thanks again! :smile:

You could also write @ROB walks to spot 0.984 156 184 in 2 AND ROB does it while walk_neutral
The reason I write this is because 0.984 is the height of the character (he would be the same height walking across), 156 is the new area/position that he moves to while 184 is the level he is on (he walks across the floor on the same level, right? If he was all the way up at the top of the screen, you could change the level, to make him go down towards the screen & then make his height bigger as he came closer to the screen as well as change the middle number to make him go either left or right in a direction towards someone). “in 2” is the time it takes for him to walk there.
I think I just made everything more confusing lol :sweat_smile:

Okay no problem, I’ll try that way too to see how it works, but thanks! :slight_smile:

Will this work for ink characters as well?

Yes, spot directing is the same for limelight and ink. Directing commands are pretty much the same.
