I’m new here and also as a writer, and I’m not an expert in directing too 
I hope you can help me with my issue.
I would like to know if it’s possible to move my overlay at the same time as my character.
My character is idle_wounded

No, it’s not possible to have it move EXACTLY with him.
I guess you could try messing around with the timing but that’d be pretty hard.
If you’re working through the writer portal on a computer, you could accomplish a similar effect by spot directing the overlay.
Something like that (obviously the spot directing would change based on your position), and you could copy and paste the shifting direction multiple times. It won’t sync up perfectly, but it’ll imitate the movement you’re looking for.
I don’t know how you could keep the animation going when dialogue is happening, but if you want other actions to occur you can just use the ‘&’ sign to make the overlay movement sync with the other animations.
