How to place a large overlay?

So I’m trying to place an overlay as the background of my story as a sort of thank you slide, but it isn’t appearing…
There’s a slotted white outline, but no picture.

Any suggestions?

Have you made the opacity 1?

Did you add the opacity? You need to set the opacity to 1 to make the overlay visible.
