Hello. I’m writing my first story and I am planning on using the point system because I prefer reading stories where choices matter. But how do I show on the screen that the reader gained/lost a point? I want it to like pop off on the screen as text or something. Do you have to make it as an overlay or something? Because I’m really confused :(

I’ve just seen it in stories like “She’s Bad” or “Under You”
