Let’s use:
EXT. ISLAND BEACH - DAY
@KIKI spot 1.095 78 124 AND KIKI faces right
(I made my character smaller because I want to have a full body zoom, you can make it from default position as well although you won’t see their feet)
Click here if you don’t know how to do it:
Spot Directing (Moving Characters Around)
More about zoom:
Zoom Directing (The Art of the Zoom Made Easy)
Now click on:
Zoom Helper
Switch Tool:
Focus - Focus on the part you want
Zoom - Move around the screen
(You may need some time to get used to using it, but don’t worry, practice, play around and you’ll be master of zoom in no time.)
So what I use first is Focus and I will focus on her feet (it may look off) that’s why you need other Toll (Zoom) to move it to the center of the screen.
Copy the spots underneath. This will be your start of.
Now using Zoom Toll I’ll move zoom on her face (I’m keeping the same focus percentage which is 335%)
Copy the spots.
Now you have to set the time.
@zoom on 43 402 to 335% in S
S- seconds, that’s mean how fast you want your zoom to move from feet to the head. You can use whatever you want.
I used 5 seconds
