Okay, so I’m thinking of making my main character die. And by the main character, I mean the MAIN character. I have already foreshadowed her death in the story. How do you think the reader would feel if the person they’re supposed to be playing as dies?

If i like and know on a personal level the character … then I would cry for a week

It depends if they really connected with the MC.
If they haven’t they probably wouldn’t care much and if they did they would be devasted.

Yea I plan on making her likable. It would be like towards the end of the story. So the reader will have many episodes to connect with the character. I want to make it seem like a happy story, but in reality, it’s quite sad.

That’s a great twist to the story, but will there be a main aspect included in your story, that would make readers continue reading?

Her death will be towards the ending. Like in the 2 last episodes, her death will occur between that time. All of the juicy drama will be before her end.
