My overlay is doesn’t go to the spot that I want to be.
Maybe try when you’re adding the overlay to your background (with DESK POLICE to 1.000 47 89 in zone 1)

I’m not on long enough to make my own topic, I added in my script so the user could choose their own name, but once they’ve chosen a name, how do I address that person like when they walk on screen or when someone else says their name?

If I remember correctly it should be
Hi [FIRSTNAME] how are you?
But you’re also suppose to change your characters display name to [FIRSTNAME]
