I have been on episode for a while now, as well as wattpad. Because I love writing. Reading stories gives me the opportunity to jump out of reality and into an amazing and captivating storytale. And I always see all these amazing stories on both apps. I remember reading so many stories with amazing and unique story plots and I even try myself to think of unique stories myself… but I just can’t seem to. They always just turn cliche or I just feel like its turned into a story thats already been written.
I honestly wouldn’t want to write a romance story… theres so many stories on episode with love stories, zombie apocalypses, high school cliches, witches, vampires and werewolves. I even made a topic a while ago, asking people what stories they’d like to see on episode. And I’ve taken lots into mind. It’s just really hard for me to think of a story idea and keep it while it staying a good, unique and interesting plot.
And I know many before me have probably made topics like this before, but I just had to get this out of my system. And I know not many people will respond to this annoying topic but oh well
I honestly wanna create a story with a male and something that doesn’t include romance… or maybe does! But not be the main plot ya know?
I am open to suggestions feel free to drop some suggestions below…? ok… bye.

You can most definitely write a story and ask for ideas at the same time, that doesn’t determine an author.
As for ideas, you’ve given kind of a broad spectrum. Since you’ve mentioned something about wanting a male mc, why don’t you look at your favorite books/shows and pick apart different things that you like about it to then create into your own story?
If you want a specific idea then how about a setting in NY (or some other big city) where your mc (boy or girl) finds out that he has an innate ability while going through their daily mundane routine. (And build off from there?)
There are a LOT of cliché stories on Episode so what your doing is like a breath of fresh air… Don’t give up on it! An idea is selecting a couple of non-cliché Episode stories and mix them up… put in your ideas and there you have something completely unique! Just a thought… It did sound better in my head
