When I open the portal I can see the character and everything as it should be but when I open the app to review the character it shows her with a different hairstyle and hair colour…

You must have changed the hairstyle and haircolor while previewing your story on the app.
Just reset the story progress or code the default hairstyle and haircolor will do.

there are three dots when you play the story clik on that then multiples options will come and tap on reply and then start at episode 0

To add on to what @Angel.L said above, when you change a feature when previewing in the app, the characters will forever stay that way unless you change their features again. But don’t worry, this only shows for the author. When you publish you story, your readers will see the character in the original features you created them as. If it really bothers you, you will need to just change their features using the “@CHAR changes [feature] into [feature]” so that they revert back to their original look.

if you have changed it on the app it will be there permantly, unleash they go through a command their change it.
exampel if you change the hair in chapter 3 and then go back to chapter 1, it will still have the chapter 3 hair. it wont affect readers.

Also @Dara.Amarie when I change a character’s feature, like @CHARACTER changes mouth into ###, How can I revert it back? Because the readers customize the character right? So when I revert it back to original, will it change according to what the reader chose?
No you’d have to use the previews/unpreviews command
@CHARACTER previews mouth Mouth Shape
Then to remove that mouth shape and revert back to the reader’s chosen mouth shape:
@CHARACTER unpreviews mouth Mouth Shape
