So I’m writing a new story, and I was wondering if you guys think that writing the whole story in the chapter 1 section, then breaking it up into separate chapters would work? I was think about this because at the moment, I’m not entirely sure where I want to break up my chapters; so I thought that maybe this would be a better solution.

I just thought it would be easier to write the whole thing then separate it after; that way you don’t have to worry about where your gonna stop writing and start the next chapter.

I think the cut off is 20000 lines after that the portal won’t be able to save the story
So do this for a few chapters then split them up would be okay but just keep that in mind

its totaly up to you if you feel this will help you with writing the story go for it. Its like with making notes and planning - some plan any detail some do not plan practicly anythig . simply find your way what works for you best and makes you comfortable while you write.
