I have a story idea... Would you read this?

Hey!! So I am brainstorming another story and I was wondering if this would be unique/interesting to you guys

PLOT
So, the world is officially overpopulated, and they are now doing executions to cut down on the population. Now, you must score in the top 5% of your age group on a test, and if you don’t, you will be executed. This way, the groups that get to live are the smartest, and will be successful to society. So the MC (Astrid) is very smart, but she fails the test. While she is being taken away, a group of other smart (but not smart enough) people help her escape and run from the system. They are in hiding and are trying to survive and overthrow the government as the group/resistance keeps growing. To summarize, It will pretty much be a group of innocent criminals trying to escape death and save society.
