No, I tried. It was so stupid of me. I copied those 200 lines and then deleted them because this scene would just skip and I needed to fix it, and then I copied the spot directing and lost it! The worst part is I saved the new version so I couldnāt get it back

I remember this happening to me and I gave up on my story for two months, thatās how pissed off I was

My ass didnāt know about the previous revisions back then, but Iāve recently started to continue to write again. 
we donāt speak about my reaction when it happened to me though.

Yea I get how ya feel I was ready to completely give up (but I was also having other issues irl and with episode) but Iām good now lmao

Same, that day was just sh*t for me, so losing all my hours of code just set me off.

Yes, two months! I think it was cause I was going through some stuff at the time and I was swamped with skl work as well.
and no, I had braids in (they cost Ā£110 to get done, and I had only had them in for a week), but my hair JUST had to be itchy at the time so I was mad pissed off; so I cut out the braids. And when my mum came home she was so angry cuz I only had them in for a week, so I lied that there was headlice going around our skl so I had to take them out cuz I wasnāt gonna tell her it was because of an episode story.

Iām so sorry that happened to you. Imma recommend a site to you to help you save any text & it stays there for as long as you like
It is great for just having a little safe space to put your script in incase you wanna copy and paste it, etc.
