If you really want to, I think you should tell Nicholas how you feel. Rejection hurts, and it’s natural to be scared of it, but in the end, he’s one guy. Being rejected by one person doesn’t mean you will always be rejected. It’s just that this one person didn’t feel the same way towards you as you do towards them, and that’s okay. There are so many other people in the world, and this isn’t your only chance to find your Prince/Princess Charming.
Being single isn’t a bad thing, either. Sure, in a good relationship, you feel loved, you have someone you can rely on. But relationships have their cons- jealousy, arguments, possibly drama. Take care of yourself first. Don’t go looking for a relationship just because you don’t want to be single- look for a relationship when you feel confident and ready to commit to one. Being single now does not mean you’ll be single forever.
