I need help finding a story!

Hey everyone! So im looking for this old story on episode I read a while ago. I have no clue what the name of it is but it’s about a girl and her guy friend and they end up falling for each other. I don’t remember the girls name but I know the guys name is Shane. I also know it’s not the story “somewhere along the way” but it’s extremely similar. It was based in a high school setting and I clearly remember that it was a group of 4 best friends (2 guys and 2 girls) and one night at a party the main girl and Shane kiss and it eventually develops into love. If anyone knows or could help me out in anyways that would be so amazing!!
