I need help Uploading my own background

Hey guys!

So some of you guys have made, just AMAZING covers. And It would be a waste not showing them. So I wanted to upload them to my story and give credit. But the problem is, when I try to, it always says the picture is too small or to big. Do you guys have any tips or ideas to help?!
