I want to have a character laugh after a different character says something. but it says error and i’m not sure how to fix it

You need to write that line like that:
@KATHERINE is laugh_chuckle

Or

&KATHERINE is laugh_chuckle

Depending on when you want your character to do that. You can try both variants and see the difference
