The trend is An au where a person gains a mark on their body where their soulmate will first touch them on their 18th bday…
My idea is:
In a world where almost everyone has supernatural powers, Maia discovers the mark of evil the day she turns 18 but without powers and growing up good, she was confused to why it had appeared… When she uncovers her legendary powers and starts feeling the pull will it be her soulmate who stops her from turning evil?
(Basically an AU where on someone’s 18th birthday a tattoo appears that either marks them for evil or for good, with most people having powers this can be dangerous for anyone with a mark for evil to remain alive… but to be marked for evil and not know you even have any powers it makes you more vulnerable because you have no chance to block it out other than a true soulmate who is willing to let the darkness take over to save you…)
