I’m writing a story on faeries and I’m trying to work in a sleeping beauty/snow white storyline with a twist.
What I have so far is this
The main character, Ariadne (pronounced, A - riad - nee), lived in poverty with her family as a child and then was taken in by distant family when her parents died from sickness. When they took her in she started to live a better life and gained the people she considered her siblings.
It’s the start of the autumn season when the story begins (in my head currently), Ariadne stumbles into Fae lands (which no human is supposed to be able to do), the lands are protected by a spell dividing & hiding the faerie from humans. Ariadne gets lost in the woods and she is kidnapped by ogres.
A huntress saves her, but only to bring her to the summer court and present her to the faerie lord.

You’ve only set up the basic premise, so I really don’t know how I can help add on without knowing what direction you want your story to go from there. I really like the fantasy elements, and there’s a ton of potential for this plot to become very thicccc. If you could tell me a little more about the world, its laws, and where you want this to go (maybe introducing superpowers, a love interest, etc.) then I could try to brainstorm some plot points or twists.
