Alright, I’m finally writing the homecoming scene and I made my research, but I couldn’t figure out which one is more common, homecoming dance on a friday or saturday? And if it’s on a friday, are there classes this day?

If you’re talking about high school, it should be on a Saturday. It’s uncommon to have a homecoming on Friday where there’s class, idk about that.

All the schools in my area have Homecoming on a Saturday after a week long spirit week and a football game that Friday!

I go to a private school and our homecoming is on Friday night. The whole week is celebrated with different grade activities each day and we also get to dress down (not wear our uniforms) There are classes that day, but we normally have some sort of fun assembly to wrap up homecoming week. I live in the south so I don’t know if it is any different in the north, but that is what we do

Most schools typically have spirit week with homecoming the following Saturday.

It really does. Especially since only 11th and 12th graders get to go. I’ll be able to go next school year which starts in the fall though
