As the title already says, I would like to get some feedback for the story I’m writing. I’ve actually got 2 questions about the current episode I’m writing. Let’s just start with the first question, shall we?
I’m currently writing a section in my story where you can explore different locations and talk to other people at an event that takes place. I’ve got 3 pictures here to see what I mean. When you start with this section, the quiz is locked, but easily unlocked by going to the information stand. Does an open section in a story interesting to you? Is this something that is unique to my story or has this idea been used before? I’m just curious.
And question 2, this is a more serious question: Should I split my current episode into 2 episodes? I’m asking this because I still have to write a lot of text and this episode is already 2758 lines long. In comparison, my other episodes have this many lines:
-Episode 1: 638
-Episode 2: 756
-Episode 3: 3753 (I had 2 mini-games in this episode, which is why it is so long.)
-Episode 4: 2803 (This episode included 1 mini-game that had 3 variations
(Episode 1 and 2 don’t have as much lines because I only used basic coding in these episodes)
If I would split this episode in 2, I would have a bit over 2200 lines left for episode 5. If I don’t, I will have at least over 4000 lines (If not more than 5000)
