I Would Love Some Story Cover Suggestions! 😁

Hi sisters! please end me. So, recently I’ve been told that I should use a cover for my story with the characters on it! And I thought it was a great idea, but… I’m not creative at all, so that’s why I’m asking for help here! So what do you guys think that I should use as the cover? I’ll appreciate any suggestions! Below, I’ve left a little breakdown of my story so that you can get an idea of what it’s about! Thanks so much!

I design covers for people, I would probably do an edited cover with the main characters on it. With one of episode backgrounds edited. Like thid.

To be honest, if a character is on the cover, I avoid it at all costs. It looks a bit ugly if I say so myself. Especially if your story is a mystery. I would suggest something like the house they were invited to or a hand reaching out of the door from the darkness, that’d be pretty creepy and would draw more readers.
