Personally I think it would be great to make the mc a trans character. It provides representation to the trans community. Especially if there’s no negative outlook (how the characters treat her, how she’s looked at, etc) because it 100% normalizes the idea of people being transgender (as the world should be). But then again, it’s totally up to you.
