Thank you all for your answers! I prefer not making the MC a trans woman since it’s a very sensitive topic and I don’t want to include transphobia in my story (I created my own universe, so transphobia, racism, and homophobia don’t exist, I thought about another kind of problems).
Struggling with discrimination it’s part of being a trans person, that’s why I feel like it isn’t genuine to not include that. The good news is that I will try to find a trans woman interested in adapting the story and use my original idea. Giving her an opportunity to include her point of view will be much better, so I hope it works.
