hello ! trans person here myself. this is certainly a very ambitious character arc you’re going for here. honestly in theory it sounds as though it could work ? obviously it’s entirely dependent on your writing itself, and how the universe this plot is set in develops, etc . i would be very, very careful with how you phrase specific things, though , especially if you are cis and don’t experience dysphoria yourself . if it doesn’t really affect the plotline or isn’t really relevant, though , i dont see why it would be necessary to add in at all (what does it bring to the story if the explanation of her backstory and struggles and dysphoria are only half-hearted ?) you wouldn’t want to seem as though this is performative representation lol . hope this helped a little !
