I’m making a story that revolves around an ice queen. If you have any name suggestions drop them below!
@Sydney_H is this the correct category for this?!
Elsa ?
from the orginal story of the snow queen. the names Gerda and Babette was used. but the snow queen herself did not have a name. she was just called the snow queen. or ice Virgin
I think Bianca would be a good name
It means “white” in Italian as snow lol
some years ago(around 10) Denmark made a tv serie base on the snow queen where they gave her the name iselin (is means ice)
edit opening from the show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUnDcVZmpD8&t=29s
Yeah, this is fine since we have context for how the names will be used in the story,
Thanks for suggestions guys! Still open to some!
Glacyia / Glacia could be a name for a snow queen!
How about Anastasia
- Lucia
- Eira
- Camellia
- Prim(rose)
Me: Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Me: Elsa lmao
But in seriousness, it would kind of depend on the aesthetic you’re going for. Is it in a historical-fantasy setting coughcough like Frozen, or a more modern setting? In a real country, or an imaginary one? If it’s an imaginary country, does it vaguely resemble a real one (ie. Denmark, as Line said, or maybe Russia, northern China or Mongolia, etc)? That could filter your suggestions.
Here are a few I like, anyway:
Guinevere (If the King Arthur attachment won’t mess with her character too much)
Eira (Welsh)
Eirwen (Also Welsh, it’s getting a little elven in here)
Natasha
Anastasia (We get it, Scarlet, you like Disney)
I’m going for a kinda modern kinda historical setting in my own made up country!
