If you are an artist please read this

Hey! So I also make arts but I am not really satisfied with it. So I asked some people and they said I need to study anatomy.
So from what site or how did you learn anatomy to draw?

I’m nowhere near an expert (very clear if you see me trying to draw hands AT ALL lol), but i’m also learning & i’ve found a lot of good references on Pinterest. There are a lot of step-by-step drawings showing you how to draw different body parts that are usually challenging!

Ofcourse it is
:joy:And I didn’t mean tracing actually
I meant more like looking at a picture as reference and drawing it with the picture side by side
I do Commissions and most of the time I study anatomy before starting the rough sketch
And my so called rough sketch will probably have tooooo many lines ofcourse. …and at the end …go by one of the lines :joy: gosh I don’t know how to explain it
Its a weird way …but it works for me
Also one more thing
Have you heard of Ross draws
Well he is an amazing artist he and some other artists(I don’t remember other names)
Use photos for reference

And many art teachers …when teaching students anatomy and proportions and all that
They’ll ask students to trace pictures but ofcourse it’s for class purpose and you end up learning how the proportions and all that work
And some artists …also draw on top of real images but they’ll make sure that the picture they used is COMPLETELY LOST
I won’t suggest you to draw the what exactly the image has when doing Commissions
Ofcourse u can post on Instagram with the picture side by side but Its risky as we won’t know if episode will approve it
So change the hair colour and like those some artists make sure the reference picture is lost? :joy:

Any pictures under the CC0 license are not illegal to use. Pexels.com, Pixabay.com, and Unsplash.com are my favorites.
