Semi-fun fact:
Grapefruit and star fruit are two fruits that slow down the toxin-neutralising function of your liver. And your liver interprets medicine as a “toxin” that it has to get rid of.

Therefore, eating grapefruit or star fruit can mess with your body’s ability to clear out prescription medications, causing your body to have too much of the medicine at a time.

So be sure not to eat them if you’re on serious prescription meds. :+1:
