I'm having some trouble with adding choices

Hi, so I’m trying to add choices in my story, but for some reason, I keep getting this error and I don’t know how to fix it! Please help! My code is what’s down below.

This is the error:

This code is actually within a branch, because I added a male or female LI choice in the beginning.

You have to add dialogue before the choice, like this →

  NARRATOR
...

choice
“Option 1” {
} “Option 2” {
}

etc.
