That is kinda hard to code, especially for people who don’t understand how to code that well lol. And some stories just kinda need to have female characters. Although, yes, I would argue that it would be better if viewers got to choose their gender, I feel that that’s hard for some authors to do, and to implement in all of their stories. It’s a good idea, but not very realistic in my opinion. I don’t think that you should be offended by it. Like other people have said, it is kinda just more realistic. There’s a female audience, and some authors don’t know how to code very well. I can code, but I don’t know how to code it so that there would be two genders to choose from, and that would be a ton of work to put in and a ton of learning to do. My story also kinda needs that female character, it’s about a woman’s journey during the medieval ages, which during those times was different than a man’s.
I think that Episode itself could implement more usage of both genders and choosing from both. But I wouldn’t expect all the community authors to get on board about that, and I certainly wouldn’t be offended by something that is logical.
