the breeze flows through your hair and gently on your skin, alas, school is over for the day. the sound of chattering teenagers spread through out the hall, although you’re just trying to get past, you seem to find yourself roped into eavesdropping on two students’ conversation. particularly, your ex best friends. they go on and on and on about a certain someone, you just can’t quite put your finger on who. the hall starts to clear out, every student following the next, hurrying to finally get home. you know you should just walk past them, get on with your life. but something is urging at your skull, a quite annoying feeling fills your gut. you remind yourself that if you get caught listening, they’ll surely tell someone. you can’t become even more unpopular then you are. you sigh and walk home, suddenly, the breeze feels less like a breeze, and more like an upcoming storm. hurrying along the path and running up to your doorstep, you step inside and listen to the familiar quietness of the house. you make your way up to your room, where you lay on your bed. something feels just so off. yet again, you sigh and ignore your feelings, trying to get a nap in. you hear a voice calling you. no. “rain! babe! come down here.” the voice sounded like someone you know, like, you just couldn’t explain your feeling. babe. normally you would be happy to see your boyfriend, but…

the doctors supervising you made the visit a lot less fun.
