a robbery

We are currently planning to leave the house and do our job. ‘We’ includes me and Zara, My other half. We’re planning to runaway together because of our family and that’s where the robbery comes in.
The person who’s shop we’re going to be looting is a cold blooded murderer.That’s the reason this is even happening. Dont get me wrong, i know what we’re doing is bad but at least it isn’t someone who’s innocent-
"Babe lets go!" I hear Zara screaming from below telling me it’s time to go through with the plan. "Coming!"
"Are you sure? there’s no going back." i say still not sure if i should take her along with me.
"More than sure, now stop overthinking and lets go"
1:03 am
I broke down the lock of the shop, there’s no going back now. we go inside the shop, taking things which will come in handy when we runaway. Zara goes to the opposite direction as it’ll save more time.
"We’ve got everything we need, lets go" As we’re leaving, i hear the shutter open
"Hide now!" i whisper scream to Zara, pulling her behind the money counter and hiding.
"Well, well…Aren’t you’ll sneaky" The owner says, Sending chill’s down my spine, because what he would do next is totally un-predictable.
i hear footsteps nearing us and make Zara be right behind me, i can’t afford him hurting her.
And the next moment i find blood dripping down on the floor, that’s when i look at my stomach. He f*cking stabbed me. I fall down to the floor, trying to keep my eye’s open and see whether Zara is safe or not. She’s frozen, literally frozen trying to process what’s going on. Then the thing which i least expect happens.
Zara pulls out her pocket knife and puts it right inside the owner’s stomach, removing and inserting it again and again and again until his lifeless body falls down to the floor. She walks over to me quickly, telling me to keep my eyes open
"You’ll be fine, ple-please dont leave me" she cries
"Atleast i-i found you" i reply.
a trembling tender laugh escaped her and she smiled.
"you found me."
this isn’t the best but oh well
