Hello, all. I’m not 100% certain I’m putting this in the right forum category, but here we go.
I have to populate a very busy part of my story. The main character is attending a super formal affair-gala-thing for her father, where there will be representatives from across many different countries and cultures. I’m hoping to get some input from people more familiar than I am (American here).
So, ideally, what I’d like is some characters in fancy (and somewhat diverse?) outfits. Mostly 30+ years old, as it’s a political dinner-type situation.
If you’re amenable, please include the following:
- a screenshot of the character
- a list of the options you clicked for the character’s appearance
- a list of the assets you used for the character’s clothing
- a brief explanation of where they’d be from and if they’re wearing non-western clothes, tell me what you know about how what they’re wearing signifies their status (politicians, ambassadors, heads of state, royalty, and the like)
- a name, if you might have one (not everyone will be speaking)
I’m really excited to see what people come up with. Anyone who creates a character I end up using will be credited with whatever name or username they prefer. I can also, of course, let you know when/if I manage to finish the story, if you would like to see it.

Yes, basically. For the formal event. Characters and formal ensembles for them to wear.

It’s a black tie formal event, so at least that should help it narrow things down? I can post what my MC and family will be wearing once I get them done shortly, if it helps.
