Hey guys 
I’ve been trying to do this iris transition in and out but it’s not going they way I expected. I want want the transition as how you would do with fade in/out (do fade in at an end of a scene and do fade out at a start of a scene) I’m trying to do that with the iris transitions.
Here’s my script.

So when you’re entering into a new background, you use “in” and when you’re exiting a scene, you use “out”

It worked but this time it’s showing the background and THEN the overlay pops up. How do I prevent this from happening?

You have to put the overlay before the transition iris in…
example:
@transition fade out black
EXT. RT MUSIC SOUND with RT SOUND MUSIC
&overlay RT SOUND MUSIC opacity 0
&overlay RT TAP TO CONTINUE opacity 0
&overlay RT SOUND MUSIC opacity 1 in 3
@transition fade in black
