My first chapter was around 7-8 minutes when i timed it. Is that okay?
And how can i make it longer?

This is my personal opinion but as long as the first episode intrigues me, I’d still read the entire story. The length of the episode doesn’t matter to me but I know there’s people that prefer longer episodes. I honestly really like short episodes, I get to read them in less than an hour and then I could do some other things I had planned while waiting for the passes to refill. Just make sure it captures the reader’s attention from the first episode. :))

I think that’s perfectly fine! I like my stories between 7-12 minutes, so you’re right in that sweet spot (too short I feel like I’m wasting a pass, but too long and I get bored).
I just checked my story and my chapters are 8.5 minutes. You should be fine.

7-8 is absolutely perfect. I for don’t like lengthy chapters, so your timing is great from my perspective.

I actually believe it is shoer - I see as minimum 10 minutes of reading time. When it is shorter you might get reader not want to spend passes on so short chapters.
I have seen several poles for this and as it seems the ideal lengst is 10-15 minutes.
But is my opinion.

Yeh most people like chapters that are 15 mins.
I’m still not finished with the first chapter as i might add in more dialogue etc and hopefully i can get it to 10 mins.
