Is Everyone Doing Ok?

It’s not Washington DC. It’s Washington state. DC is the capital of the US, while Washington is an actual state

I’m holding up okay, thx for asking. Definitely being more cautious now. So are a lot of ppl at my school. Clorox wipes in every classroom, teachers with hand sanitizer, sick people wearing masks. Although a teacher sneezed in a tissue and didn’t put hand sanitizer on and that kind of bothered me… Some students were also coughing and not covering their mouth.

Did anyone else’s school hold a mandatory meeting about the virus? They said if any cases started pushing towards our county, they’ll close school for a few days. This is in Florida state

Nope

I think they should start closing schools now, like right now.

Me too. They should switch us all to online classes. Us seniors might not graduate until late summer, but that’s not really a priority rn

They’re not super concerned about it right now, since there hasn’t been any confirmed cases yet

Here in the Netherlands the number of infected people is increasing everyday. The number of infected is right now 614 on 17 million people. All the infected people are mostly living in the south of my country (luckily I’m living north). Also we were acting calm but today they have a crisis consultstion or something and there are more measures taken. Soo… I’m just watching the news and hoping for the best.
Oh one last thing. At my work (side-job, I’m still a student) they have taken measures but some costumers are reacting really weird, like really angry. I don’t understand it because those measures are being taken for safety for the costumers and us staff. With the virus being a pandemic and increasing in the country those measures are needed so I’m kinda irritated that some people act this like childish way

Okay… I was wrong about being lucky that I live where not many people are infected someone in my hometown has the virus. I just read it on a local news site

Wow that so terrible . In my country school is closed for 15 days . The COVID-19 has just started spreading around. There are only 11 cases so far. Airports are closed to Germany, Italy and other countries so that the virus does not spread. Whoever comes must be in isolation for 14 days.
The world is going insane. Just looking in the news it’s awful.
I’m not scared of the virus but some people have already started to rush in the market to buy groceries.
They are considering transferring it to online classes, but it is not yet certain.
On the bright side, I can focus on the episode and learning and watching movies and so on.
How is in your countries? I hope everyone is fine. Be safe! :hugs: :blob_hearts:

I know I shared some things earlier today but I have a update and I kinda wanted to share with somebody. So why not here because we have a very supportive community :slightly_smiling_face:

My university is closed 'till the end of march and that can be extended. My school doesn’t have very much information other then that campus will be closed and all classes will be cancelled. They will give us more information later. I’m kinda bummed and anxious about it because I follow classes where it is required to go to campus and other stuff. Also I’m paying my tuition fees by myself and have a student loan. So when this goes on for a longer period it can cost me a lot of money and it will take longer to graduate. I know safety first and I will do what is told but I don’t want my education to suffer from the virus
