I shared my unpublished story with someone some time ago with the share link for feedback on my first chapter, and I know in this way they can gain access to all the chapters I’m working on. Is there a way to lock the rest of my chapters, perhaps?
I’m not sure if that’s the solution I’m looking for since I don’t want anyone to read it, but I’ll save this for future reference.

In an unpublished story there will always be ways to surpass scenes and move on to whereever because of the navigation button.
True, I think the only thing I can think of is to create a new story (to copy and paste those chapters into) which they won’t have access to.
Yep, exactly that. Either a separate story or a google doc/something similar
