Are there any big or small authors doing story promotion? I’ve published my first story about an week ago and it’s still has 1 read (from myself). I know it takes a lot of time before people read your story, but It’s kinda frustrating. I love writing on episode so of course I’m not about to give up, I’m also working on new chapters already. If you wanna promote it well here, you should add the Story title (even if it’s on the cover), The description, genre, tropes (if any), special features (eg choices matter, full customization) to your message.
While waiting, you can do read-for-read with a bunch of authors who are open to doing it. Just find their threads on the forum and connect with them. It will be quicker than trying to find someone who’s going to do promotion.
Plus, if you’re on IG there are also support groups for new authors - they offer different things like reviews, read-for-reads, story shoutouts, etc.
