Is there an easier way to animate overlays?

Hi guys,
I was wondering is there an easier way to animate your overlays without going through the heavy coding to do it?

By “animate” what do you mean, exactly?

Make them move

Okay, got it. I wasn’t sure if you meant scaling or shifting. So there’s not really a way to minimize the coding needed, but you can condense the coding so it takes up less lines by using “and” and “then” statements.

ok, like throwing an item such as a ball, there’s not an easier way to do that?

I don’t believe so, sorry :grimacing:

Ok, so I didn’t want to sound like an imbecile, but I am writing my third story and I wanted code a spiritual fight like throwing energy orbs at one another and I think I found an easier way to do it, so I tried it out and it works!

I was fiddling around with the overlay and something told me just use the top part of the overlay and put it as if you were coding a character walking into a scene, I did it and it works,
I have the video of it and trying to bring it up now so you could see

I have a video of the overlay working, but for some reason can’t seem to bring it up!

But if you have Fb, I did manage to upload the vid to Fb in this chatroom.

It’s kind of blurry, but you can see the overlay move!
