Is this cliche?

Hi guys!

I’m sorry if I’m doing this the wrong way, it’s the first topic I’m creating :slight_smile:
I just have a quick question for you:
If a story is partly about a gang, but the girl MC doens’t fall in love with the gang leader or anything, do you still feel like it’s cliche because the story involves a gang?
I hope this makes sense lol.

im tired of seeing romance in gang/mafia stories. No romance, so this story is soooo on my reading list.

It will involve romance, but the romance will not be directly related to the gang, if that makes sense in any way. I’m still working on the cliché’s in my story idea, so I really hope I will be able to get them all out!
