so I am not Indian. but I am gonna leave my opinions anyway
- epiode have limited stuff, and we gotta use what we have. now personally I wouldnt use a bindi as a bullet hole, thats a bit weird, but I had a few people complain to me about using a scarf(SCARF not a hijab) as a hood, because regligios reason, its not a hijab.
2 maybe the author didnt think about it, they could be young or shelterd.
3 your not overreacting, we all hate to see something close to us been represented wrong.
4, of course you can try and contact the author, though it may not do anything because some people dont care, but if you do reach out try and be friendly. you usally come longer with that.
