I do think everyone is well aware that it’s wrong. The perpetrators as well. But those that commit these crimes… I’m fully convinced that it’s impossible to condition them otherwise. Murder has been a crime in civilization since the dawn of it all, and yet it’s a frequent happening.

Gosh I especially remember this one time a couple years ago. I took the bus for a long-ish ride. It was summer time and I was wearing long flowy pants that were slightly see-through. This questionable-looking dude got in and because the bus was already quite crowded, he walked past me and stood somewhere behind me. A few stops later he positioned himself right behind me to get out at the next stop and I legit felt him groping my *ss. I turned around, gave him a death stare and said something like “excuse me?” out loud. Some of the people on the bus looked at me as if I was crazy. The guy––needless to say––gave me the “idk what you’re talking about” look.
On the flip side, my bf is one of sweetest people I met in my life. I tell myself that I’m not lucky to have him. I was unlucky that day when that dude found me. Because I refuse to make the opposite the normality, where as a female you’re lucky to have nice guys around you but it’s normal to be surrounded by these swines. It all starts by acknowledging reality and adopting the right mindset to fix it.
But I just think it’s ridiculous that there are still some people that dare to look at you as if you’ve gone out of your mind for calling these individuals out.

Yeah! Because at least I know that these people probably won’t be gone for a good while, if not they’ll never change. But what infuriates me is society that condones this sh-t.

Yes Your spot on actually talked about it today at school drop off with other mums we not asking much just respect. Respect for our body and minds time for the toxic masculinity to go by the wayside.
As we know it’s not all men there some damn good men but there incredibly rare more pigs unfortunately. We also not just men women are just as bad with enabling try my own mother sat there while a 18 year old man talked sexually about me I won’t repeat it was disgusting I was 12 guess what my mum told me what do I expect by dressing like a slut i was 12 years old wouldn’t matter if I was naked I wasn’t in the wrong.
I’ve had it all been sexually assaulted abused ect and getting slut shamed i was a virgin but the amount of times my own mother called my a slut or a whore is ridiculous. Also lost her shit because I didn’t go out partying and slept around.
