Yeah, diamond choices are NOT worth it. You’re spending 25 diamonds on the most shortest, unfulfilling dialogue ever. There’s honestly not even any point in getting diamond choices. They don’t do anything for the story.
This app does not seem good… at all…
the app has potential. that’s all I can say. the episode writing team just needs to figure out the guidelines regarding the intensity of the content. (consent etc.)

Do they allow swear words or gory details/ blood and stuff like that?

I’m not sure about gory details as I haven’t read any stories on there with that kind of content, but I imagine so.

I think that’s a bit harsh given that they are still working on it and building it into the app that it will be.
As the majority of people don’t have the app, the information being put out there is second hand, and therefore is open to interpretation of the people posting the content, and can be biased.
An open mind is needed at the moment whilst they iron out the details and build the app into what they intend it to be. I think there’s too much negativity being spread about it because of individual perception of content.
I am looking forward to it coming out, I think it has the potential to be a great place to write mature storylines across the whole variety of genres. Again, I think romance is the main one featured, because it is the biggest genre on the app.

I wonder how the ads are gonna work. since they are from the same company (Pocket Gems) whoever has personalised ads on Episode will get ads for interactive games Choices, Love Choice, Fictions sometimes you’ll get 16+ ads for games like Chapters or LoveSick. If you do not have personalised ads then you’ll get apps on whatever app has a general audience in their promotion preferences so that means. If Ivy will have that then:
under 13 will probably get an ad for Ivy.
If someone has personalised ads Ivy will pop up again because it’s the same company and it will have to get advertisment from their other app.
i don’t know… i’m worrying about this for no reason I think…

Wow that’s some serious over thinking there. Props to you for that. It hadn’t even crossed my mind.
My issue (we we ever get to publish on it)
would be that my story “could” be considered inappropriate for the Episode app (I don’t think it is but you never know. But then I definitely wouldn’t say it was mature enough for IVY and would very likely be overshadowed by the IVY stories due to them being adult.
Side note: does anyone know when it will be available in the UK?
No one knows when it will be released anywhere else.
If it’s just a question of “could” be considered inappropriate, then I would say to ask a few independent people for their opinion, then make the decision as to whether or not to publish it on episode app, or to wait and release on the Ivy app, when the time comes around.

That’s sort of the same question there. No one knows.
As it’s been said a whole bunch of times, the app is in testing, and stories are being tried in different styles etc on there. I think it will still likely be a while before it is properly released.
