Just Background between

Okay, so this is probably the stupidest most obvious thing and I have probably seen the answer about 500x, but what do I put in a script if I want pauses between the text bubbles…

EX. Starting with my characters talking over the view (not onscreen) and want some pauses of just the background between when they speak again.

I’ve read everything and have like fifty tutorials up but I think my brain is done.

try @pause for a beat or @pause for 1.5

It’s not stupid we all forget at times I know I forget coding too I mostly look back at the forums.
