I can second Gimp as being great, I used it for years.
I do now use Clip Studio and it is better, but Gimp is amazing for a free tool.

Oh same! wanna duel the old fashion way
nice nice
Thank you so much! I will definitely be trying this
I use Procreate But it gets pixelated When you zoom in very quickly unless you have a big canvas
I use Procreate. But if your drawing gets pixelated it’s usually because your canvas is too small. I’ve never tried the program you use, but try to draw on a bigger canvas, I’d say at least 1000x1000 pixels. My favorite canvas is 4000x5000 pixels, that was I almost never experience it getting too pixelated.
ibis does make things pixelated, but I’m pretty sure you can up the resolution but it only lags your device, especially if its a low end one. But I still use it because it looks very nice. Other than that, there are some cool editing apps that you can use after you finish your artwork to refine it more and add a filter to make it look nicer.
I use Ibis paint X for coloring talk_neutral
What size canvas do you use? And what pen are you using? This will affect the quality of you work. Otherwise people wouldn’t be able to do this on Ibis Paint X:
No problem! Hope you can do cool stuff in Gimp if you use it (:
That’s literally so gorgeous. I love going on Ibis just to see everyone’s awesome anime.

(Btw to everyone: the art is not mine lol)
But yeah, I do that too! The art on the online gallery is so amazing. Sometimes though, they put really amateur pieces on the top. Like, I saw this on the daily ranking:
I use krita and Photoshop but I’m probably gonna switch to a new one
I mostly use these from personal experience xD
-Procreate (Paid)
-IbisPaint X
-Medibang
-Autodesk Sketchbook
-PaintTool SAI (Paid)
I recommend to use at least 4000x4000 px with 350 dpi as a setting no matter what software, because I often saw that 1k px images still get pixelated as soon as you want to resize them. I usually paint on a 6000x6000 or 8000x8000 one. Rarely 10000x10000.
