Labels and Gotos

#1

So, I’m having problems with my gotos in my script. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong because I’ve added labels that fit with the gotos. For some reason when I want to preview my script it doesn’t got back the the goto I’ve created. A peice of my script looks like this:

} else {

INT. BLACK - DAY

label choosing_room

NARR
what room would you like to see?

choice “Larger bedroom” {

@transition fade out white in 2

INT. LARGE BEDROOM - DAY

    NARR
Want to claim?

choice “Yes” {

@CHARACTER +5

    NARR
This room is now yours!

    NARR
Take care of it!!

gain chose_largeroom

} “See other room” {

    NARR
Alright.

@pause for a beat

goto choosing_room

}

Please help me! I don’t understand why it doesn’t work :unamused::triumph:

@Hannah_minna can help! :heart:

Labels cannot be inside brackets. You will have to put the label outside of the if/elif/else and put a goto inside that leads to that label.

I understand now! Thanks! :kissing_heart:

Ok another problem, Its giving me the Unexpected block end error when I placed the label outside the else condition. This part of the script is supposed to replay the choosing room option IF the player chose the “see other rooms” option. Is there something that I’m doing wrong?
