Last minute tips for running the mile

So today we’re running the mile in gym, and I’m hella nervous. My times are usually around the 9-11 mark, so I’m pretty bad at running. I need some tips for running the mile. I want to try for a 7/8 minute mile, but I know that’s not going to happen. Leave below some last minute tips you have for the mile.

I don’t know if this will work, but I run the long sides and fast-walk the short sides. I get tired easily. :sweat_smile:
