To get to know people I suggest pming known people that are active a lot, putting yourself out there in games , threads, ect. Try starting a game of 20 questions with a few people in a pm

I recommend to slowly start to meet people do games maybe some art and after a few months you should of you like making characters and being them with different plots join a few role plays or us the role players like to say: rps
