Hey, guys I’m writing a story that has half my character from Brescia, Italy and speak Italian. Could anyone tell what their culture is in Brescia, Italy? How they do stuff, their phrases, etc. (I used to live in Italy till I was two then I moved to the U.K but I can’t remember) Also would It be offensive if I added some funny African and Italian stereotypes types in my story? (I’m an African myself) Please share your thoughts! It would be nice if you guys told be about the culture Italy, Brescia. (Also take a shot every time I say Italy, Brescia lol)

Well, how they say things, their phrases, their education, what you see when you walking down the streets of Brescia, How their parents treat them. And would it be offensive if I added some stereotypes?
Oh well, one thing we often say is “pota”. It doesn’t really have a meaning, I have honestly no clue of how explain that word, you should search. Something typical is that both parents work. A typical dish is “polenta”. Local dialect is spoken by both elder and young people.
Ahhh I’m not from Brescia, but I do live in Lombardy (same region as Brescia) so perhaps I can help with some general knowledge.
As for dialect and specifics I don’t think I can be that useful
